Important Notice I am currently on hiatus from doing traditional staged puppet shows and instructional workshops as I work on some exciting new entertainment options. Update: I am pleased to announce that two of my classic shows, The Tale of the Pig From South Bay and The Parable of the Lost Sheep will be back again for the late spring and summer seasons. Both shows will be available starting May 1st, 2009. I will also have some new entertainment options available starting this summer. With these changes, however, I will no longer be offering puppetry workshops for children. I will continue to do puppetry workshops geared towards adults and older teenagers, and those offerings will begin again starting this summer. In the meantime, I am still available for interactive walk-about puppet and costume character entertainment. Can anything beat a friendly greeting from a lovable, huggable costume animal character? My unique costume characters are a combination of realistic body shaping and movement with a sweet appearance and soft-to-the-touch feel that make them big hits at any event. With so many characters to choose from, there's sure to be one that's perfect for any occasion. Costume characters will pose for pictures, give out hugs and handshakes, do entertaining shtick, and in general help to create a feeling of fun and happiness wherever they go. All characters are capable of roaming throughout an event area for maximum coverage, and for events lasting more than three hours, consider inviting two different characters for even more excitement. Who ever said that hand-puppet characters have to stay behind a puppet stage? Take one mouth puppet character with a fun, unique personality and voice, add a healthy dose of improvisation and even an occasional trick move, and watch the fun begin. I will escort a puppet character throughout your event space, greeting guests on the fly with simple but fun shtick that I customize to fit any situation. Choose from any of my large cast of puppet characters, and for appearances longer than one hour, consider inviting two or more puppet characters to make alternating appearances during your event.
