Kevin Pittman and his Forest Friends

Costume Characters

Sheldon with his Big Brother Reynard

Any of the costume animal characters on this page are available to make an appearance at your special event. They are all my own unique personal creations, and every character has an outgoing, friendly, and fun-loving personality that will quickly win the hearts of your guests. Meet-and-greet is a key specialty for these characters, and they will also pose for pictures, give out hugs and pawshakes, and in some cases even do tricks for your guests.

Costume characters are available for hire in increments of fifteen minutes with a thirty-minute minimum. For events lasting more than four hours, any two characters can make alternating appearances for added variety. Please contact me with your requirements to get further details and pricing.

E. Bunny

E. Bunny is a beautiful lop-eared rabbit who's eagerly excited to be the latest member of the Forest Friends cast. Hopping onto the scene just in time for Easter, he would love to appear as the Easter Bunny at your springtime event, no matter how big or small.

Be sure to visit E. Bunny's Personal Page.

Reynard the Red Fox

Reynard the Red Fox is the most fun-loving fox you will ever meet. He's a sly fellow who will find the perfect way to keep your guests entertained. Although he is a completely silent character, he can speak volumes through his characteristic body language. While not a true contortionist, he can bend his body into some unusual positions, which is sure to be a fun surprise for your guests.

Be sure to visit Reynard the Red Fox's Personal Page.

Trition the Triceratops

Storming onto the scene for spring 2010 is Triton the Triceratops From the tip of his horns to the tip of his tail, Triton is over six feet long, and with a girth to match, he's one of our largest characters ever! Of course, Triton is big on fun, and he loves to play, and his horns are softly padded with blunted tips to keep him child-friendly.

Please note:Triton really is quite large and requires a great deal of space. He is not recommended for indoor events at private homes. He will perform outdoors only on finished surfaces (concrete, wood, etc.)

Be sure to visit Trition the Triceratops's Personal Page.

Arthur the Arctic Fox

Arthur is a fun-loving arctic fox pup who loves to play and will run about endlessly on all four paws, just like a real arctic fox. He loves making new friends and playing games, and of course he's always happy to pose for pictures. He'll even scratch his ears with his hind paws, if you ask him nicely.

Believe it or not, Arthur is not animatronic in the the least. He comes alive completely through the direct control of his "caretaker".

Be sure to visit Arthur the Arctic Fox's Personal Page.

Squawk the Hawk

Squawk the Hawk is more than your typical raptor - he's the coolest red-tailed hawk around. Never fear, for Squawk is still sweet and fun-loving and perfect for kids of all ages. Call him a bird, call him a character, call him for dinner (he'll gladly swoop by) - just don't call him chicken, cause he's the bravest hawk around, and you don't want to find out why he's called "Squawk"!

Be sure to visit Squawk the Hawk's Personal Page.

Billy the Goat

Billy the Goat is sure to win over anyone's heart when he comes trotting along through any event big or small. Billy, a true quadruped character, is capable of walking and running on all-fours, just like a real goat. He's extremely convincing, and is sweet and friendly. Of course, he just loves to play with the kids - after all, he's a little 'kid' at heart.

Be sure to visit Billy the Goat's Personal Page.

Charles the Dragon

Charles is still as spry as the day he was born, even if that was three hundred years ago. A wise, old dragon, Charles loves to greet children of all ages and he loves to tell stories of the good old days. Charles is a true costume puppet character, with articulable neck, head, and mouth. He can speak to guests with a slightly British accent, though sometimes he prefers to just let his actions to the talking.

Be sure to visit Charles the Dragon's Personal Page.

Snowflake the Snow Leopard

Snowflake is a prime example of the feline persuasion: sleek, quick, sure-footed, and agile. Never fear, though, for he is also quick to please and sure to bring a smile to any child's face. With his silky soft fur and his beautiful long tail that is the hallmark of snow leopards, you'll not find a more purrrrrfect feline character anywhere.

Be sure to visit Snowflake the Snow Leopard's Personal Page.

Galileo the Gecko

Galileo is a lively little gecko who loves to run about on a warm, sunny day.

Be sure to visit Galileo the Gecko's Personal Page.

Felix the Flying Fox

Felix the Flying Fox is actually a fruit bat, and is as sweet and friendly as bats come. He'd love to show you just how nice a bat can be - all you have to do is ask him to come out to your next event. Of course, if you're looking for a good spooky character, Felix doesn't mind playing up to his stereotypical role during the Halloween season - after all, being spooky is what Halloween is all about, right?

Be sure to check out Felix on his personal page to see him with his full wingspan - it's a truly amazing sight!

Spumoni The Squirrel

Spumoni is the cute little squirrel with the funny name. He's soft and cuddly, and hyper as can be. He's the perfect character to have scampering around your small event, and the kids will love how silly and truly squirrel-like he can be.

Be sure to visit Spumoni The Squirrel's Personal Page.

The Chicken

There's nothing foul about this classic barnyard fowl. The chicken is 100% grade A all the way, and sure to be a crowd pleaser at any event big or small. He loves to give out big soft feathery hugs, and he can even dance a little, if you ask nicely. This is one character who's definitely not going to lay an egg!

Be sure to visit The Chicken's Personal Page.

Splash the Penguin

Splash the Penguin is more than ready to make a big splash at your next event - and we do mean splash! You see, Splash is an aquatic costume character, which means that he is fully capable of going into a swimming pool with your guests, bringing a whole new level of fun and excitement to your event. What could be more amazing than getting to swim with a penguin! Of course, Splash is equally capable on land and can make appearances at any place that a normal costume character might turn up. With so much potential, you can be sure that Splash will be showing up a lot this summer and every summer for years to come!

Be sure to visit Splash the Penguin's Personal Page.

Roarke the Stork

Roarke just flew into town and boy are his wings tired! Don't worry, though, cause Roarke always has plenty of energy to spare, and while he doesn't deliver babies, he does deliver plenty of laughs and lots of smiles. Roarke is no small bird - standing seven feet tall and featuring an articulable beak, Roarke is sure to make a big impression on any event.

Be sure to visit Roarke the Stork's Personal Page.

Roopert the Kangaroo

Roopert the Red Kangaroo is always ready to have a hopping good time anywhere he goes. Standing six-and-a-half feet tall and speaking with a slight Australian accent, he is sure to add a magic touch to any event. Roopert is very special, in that he has a fully performable neck, head, and mouth, which gives him a very life-like range of movement in those areas. This magnificent marsupial is one of my favorite characters and quite possibly the most lovable one as well.

Note:Roopert has retired from performing, but is pictured here for posterity's sake.

Be sure to visit Roopert the Kangaroo's Personal Page.

Ribberto the Tree Frog

Ribberto is one very hoppy South American tree frog. His wild energy will keep guests entertained for hours on end, and by the end of his appearance you'll be wondering if he has springs in his feet (he doesn't).

Note:Ribberto has been retired, but is pictured here for posterity's sake.

Be sure to visit Ribberto the Tree Frog's Personal Page.

Rantula the Tarantula

One of our earlier character, Rantula had a blast back in the day crawling around Halloween parties and events on his eight legs, his red eyes glowing and pulsing with energy. Guests were amazed, and when they least expected it Rantula would lunge up and flail his legs about!

Rantula could also play to a younger audience, and could be as friendly and gentle as stuffed animal. He even appeared at museums to help educate visitors about arachnids.

Sadly, Rantula the Tarantula has been retired, but fear not, for we now have Felix the Flying Fox Fruit Bat for all of your Halloween needs!

Be sure to visit Rantula the Tarantula's Personal Page.
